Standard & Modular

Midwest Automation has been designing and engineering industrial machines since 1959. Our extensive application knowledge gives us a unique advantage over other competitors.

We engineer machines that have common modular platforms, systems, and parts. This gives us the flexibility we need to increase the number of products and the speed we can bring them to the market. Creating modular systems also gives us the ability to develop common parts that reduce repair time and increase machine productivity.

Custom Engineered Systems

Midwest Automation has manufactured standard industrial machines and systems since 1959, however, we are sometimes asked to apply our engineering design knowledge to customers’ unique application requirements.

Working closely together as a team throughout this process, each project results in a custom machine or integrated system built for specific industrial applications.

Kenny Holley, Former President

Welcome to Midwest Automation. Our friends call us "Midwest". We've been around since 1959 located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

You can be assured that our team will handle your inquiry, quotation, and project with professionalism and integrity throughout the whole process - from initial contact to sales and engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer parts and technical service.

Big News! In November 2021, Midwest Automation LLC was acquired by TJM Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm out of Chicago, Illinois, that also owns Timesavers LLC of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Dubois Equipment Company in Jasper, Indiana.

Please know that It has been a tremendous honor to lead Midwest Automation for the last 35 years, and during that time we have built a solid foundation in the metal deburring and finishing industries.

I cannot imagine a better partner than TJM to build upon that foundation and to ensure a successful future for Midwest Automation.

Thank you for the privilege to serve this industry with pride and dedication. The business relationships built throughout the years will continue to grow and get even better with our American made machines designed, built, and serviced right here in the USA!
